Our 3 bedroom detached stone bungalow is in a peaceful Yorkshire Wolds village. It is ideal for visiting York (20 mls), Beverley (10 mls) and the Yorkshire Coast. Within 1 hour we can be on the Yorkshire Moors and within 2 hours up to the Yorkshire Dales. Our nearest supermarket and good range of individual shops is 1.5 mls away in Market Weighton. We have very good village pubs and restaurants locally. We are close to motorway networks (M62 7 miles away, links to M18/A1/M1). We have very good walking country on our doorstep and are very close to part of the Wolds Way.
Our bungalow has a large kitchen with open access to separate dining room and double doors to a large lounge with recliner chairs for relaxing at the end of the day. In addition, our conservatory overlooks the patio garden and is a perfect place to sit and read or watch the birds. We have a master bedroom with en-suite shower/toilet. Another guest double bedroom with main bathroom adjacent and a third bedroom we use as a study. Outside we have a large garden with summer house and pond and a vegetable plot.

We are Alan (70) and Pam(59), a retired couple who like to travel. Alan is a retired nursery manager (plants & shrubs) and his hobbies are his garden and brass band music. Pam belongs to the local choir. We also own a static caravan in the Yorkshire Dales and like to spend time there. We have had very successful home exchanges to Vancouver, SW France, Tauranga NZ and Nova Scotia, as well as several exchanges within the UK. We do have a small elderly cat (who can stay here and be fed by a neighbour or go into a cattery) so unfortunately our home is not suitable for anyone with pet allergies.
