The town itself is located about an hour's drive east of the international airport in Berlin (Germany). The Polish city and airport of Poznan (Posen) is about an hour in the opposite direction. Budget flights to both cities and airport car hire are readily available. And should you want to drive the apartment is six or seven hour drive from the Hook of Holland ferry port from the UK. The large city of Gorzow Wlkp (Landsberg Warthe) is just 20 minute's drive north. The area is famous for its lakes, unspoilt countryside, wildlife, cycle routes, and forests and is known as the Lubuskie Lake District. The town of Lubniewice itself is small, but has several good restaurants and bars. It is an ideal location for nature lovers, and angling, canoeing, geocaching and cycling enthusiasts. We are a professional couple (with two small 'well-trained' children) who enjoy travelling. Swaps can be arranged with or without our children. We have homes both here in Poland and in England, so are open to exchange for much of the year, and to anywhere in the world. This is our second home, but, as we use it fairly often, is full of books and the usual belongings. There is only Polish language TV available but we do have a large collection of English and German language DVDs and video.
