Situated close to the centre of Hungerford, a picturesque and historical small town enjoying the benefit of a restored canal and a river running through it and set in rolling farmland on the edge of the Berkshire downlands renowned for its scenery, we have a semi-detached two storey property comprising sitting room, dining room and kitchen on the ground floor and two bedrooms, a study, bathroom and w.c. on the first floor.
Hungerford has a main line railway station that puts London within easy reach and the local motorway and mainroad network affords access to Oxford, Salisbury, Winchester, Southampton, Bath and the Cotswolds, all within one hour by car and offering both cultural and "retail therapy" experiences.

We have furnished our home to suit our lifestyle as a mature couple still engaged with careers and a social life that keeps us busy. We are keen gardeners and our rear courtyard garden has been designed to provide a small private area planted and furnished for al-fresco entertaining, something that we enjoy. We have a grown up family and our younger daughter and her husband and two grandchildren live close by in Hungerford. They would be happy to be called upon for advice on local amenities or to provide assistance in the case of an emergency.
On holiday, we enjoy visiting cities where we can visit museums and art galleries, explore local neighbourhoods on foot or by public transport and we also like to dine out in the evening.
