Warkworth, Auckland New Zealand (HE21358)

Our very modern, award-winning home is located in Warkworth, roughly an hour north of Auckland City and the same time further north to Whangarei City. We are in a rural/seaside area though only minutes from any number of excellent sheltered white-sand, east-coast beaches as well as a short drive to the black-sand west coast beaches for surfies. Our home is a 10 minute walk to town where we have all the facilities perfect for a holiday with supermarkets etc for all supplies. Our town is quaint by NZ standards and is sought-after as far as residential properties are concerned.

A car exchange would be necessary. We have 2 cars available for use.

Anna and I are retirees and are interested in England through having family there, so hence our requirements of 4-8 weeks so that our time can be spent traveling and checking out all our friends and rellies. We have recently completed a hugely successful exchange to Vancouver Canada which was for a total of 8 weeks and both parties had a marvelous time.

Our area is accessible to the rest of NZ very easily and the International Airport at Auckland handles the domestic air services throughout the country. The South Island is just amazing. Try and keep that idea, you wouldn't regret it. It is very easy to get around.
