Comfortable family home (semi-detached)within walking distance or an easy bus ride of the historic centre of York. York is a great destination - plenty to do and see in the city itself; easy rail links to London (2 hours, direct service every 30 minutes) or Edinburgh, if you want to do a grand tour of the UK; and the stunning Yorkshire Dales and Yorkshire Moors on your doorstep if you are more interested in the outdoor life. There are plenty of attractions in the region for children and adults alike, including many historic houses.

We are a professional couple with a young son aged 6 and a new baby one month old. We would like to explore more of the UK and Europe with our family, although we are now limited to weekends and school holidays. At home and on holiday we enjoy walking and cycling, and generally exploring new places.
