It`s a 7 minutes walk to Thames Street wharf (BALMAIN wharf) for a F4 ferry to McMahons Point and Circular Quay in the CBD of Sydney.

The apartment is light-filled, relaxing and quiet with an established garden of frangipanis, hibiscus, native Australian plants and herbs. It is a home which is welcoming with plenty of atmosphere - art works, a library and a gas-heated lounge/dining room add a special quality of comfort. It is a cool apartment in summer.

The kitchen is contemporary and practical with exposed sandstone walls and a high ceiling. There is a choice of dining spaces - in the kitchen or dining room or on the garden terrace. The lounge room has a large timber dining table that is also excellent if you need to work from home. The WIFI is fast, secure and free. The large bedroom has a comfortable queen size bed with quality linen and towels. The bathroom has been renovated recently.

Transport to the city is convenient - 10 minutes by ferry from Balmain/Thames Street Wharf (F4) and 20 minutes by bus (No: 442). Excellent cafes and restaurants and Woolworths supermarket are all with an easy walk from the apartment.

Balmain is great to explore by foot with its historic waterside industries and its distinctive mix of early maritime and Victorian architecture. The Darling Street cafes and small restaurants are lively with a terrific choice of cuisine. There is a Woolworths supermarket 10 minutes walk from your apartment (open 7 days a week), a Saturday morning organic market in Orange Grove (bus 445) and a Saturday flea market at Rozelle Primary School (bus 445 & 433). There are 2 local ferry wharves: BALMAIN (on Thames Street) and BALMAIN EAST (on Darling Street overlooking Sydney Harbour). TRIPVIEW is the app for Sydney ferry, bus and train timetables.
