Great location in city centre just a block from the beach, with Brighton's famous West Pier only a few hundred metres away.

The flat comprises a bright and airy sitting room with sofa, small dining table and chairs, lots of books and CDs, a very quiet double bedroom, well-equipped kitchen, and fully-tiled bathroom with shower over the bath.

Wifi available. And use of my bicycle.

Several supermarkets and grocery stores nearby, as well as a great choice of local cafés, pubs, bars and restaurants. A 10 minute stroll through town or along the beach promenade brings you to the main theatres, live music venues, more bars and restaurants, and great shopping, especially in the famous Lanes area and bohemian North Laine, and the antique/retro shops of nearby Kemptown Village.

A short bus or train ride will take you to the unspoilt countryside of the South Downs - very accessible and lovely for walking.

Direct trains to London (50min) and to Gatwick Airport(30min).

I'm a freelance events consultant, working from home, so I can often be quite flexible with dates. At the moment I'm really keen to find somewhere for a mid-week break in October, or a longer break, 1-3 weeks, in Dec or Jan. Weekends are good too.

I like city centre locations with good access to local culture - good food, architecture, art, markets, bars... But I also like getting away from it all! Sometimes I travel alone, sometimes with a friend.

My cat comes with the flat - she's very placid and friendly, and doesn't go outside. Of course I'm very happy to look after any pets. If you don't fancy pet-sitting, she can stay with friends.
