Telford, Shropshire England (HE23329)

We live in Coalbrookdale which is half a mile away from the world famous Ironbridge, a world heritage site. Within walking distance of the house are many historic and museum sites. A slightly longer walk or a bus/car ride is the Blist Hill open air museum which recreates a Victorian town in the early 1900's.

Shropshire is a beautiful county ideal for walkers and the historic town of Shrewsbury is 25 minutes by car. It takes less than 3 hours to drive to London.

Holly House is a large detached house. Access to Holly House is by one of the 2 bridges over a small stream called the Coalbrook. The garden and brook offer many delightful areas for relaxing, cooking and eating outside from spring to autumn.

We are retired college teachers 57 and 59 years old. Stuart decided to retire early in September 2008. Kit retired from her job as a maths lecturer in January 2009.

We have 2 sons in their late 20's.
