Cozy apartment, lots of books, piano, radio - very comfortable bed that sleeps one plus long comfy sofa that can sleep one additional person. safe, good neighbors. Eat-in kitchen, long bath with large window that looks onto the East River. Limitations: no elevator, no doorman, no shower (only bath), small-scaled apt. Ask for plants to be watered every so often. 10 min walk to subway, buses outside building - uptown, downtown, across town (i.e. to lincoln center on west side). River boardwalk stone's throw, and Central Park a ten minute walk. Frick and Metropolitan 10 and 20 min walk. best for one person but can accomodate two.
