We are located in downtown St. Catharines(pop 132,000) which is on the shores of Lake Ontario and only 10 minutes from Niagara Falls, 1 hour from Toronto, 30 minutes from historic Niagara-on-the-Lake and 30 minutes from New York State. We are located in the heart of wine country, with nearly a 100 different wineries. We are known specifically for our award winning ice wines, Reislings and Cab Francs. We have fine dining, world class golf courses, sailing, kayaking, fishing, hiking, theatre, museums, cycling, etc. Our house is within walking distance of many fine restaurants and shopping. Neighbours are very friendly, helpful and well travelled. We have several family members close by who would be more than happy to assist you as well. Our house was built in 1922 and has been completely renovated from top to bottom. We have central air conditioning, a large front porch, a modern and very well equipped kitchen, a large back yard with a BBQ and a beautiful new sun room. Good skiing available in winter months either to the North or into the US just a few hours away.

I am a teacher and my husband David is a contractor both educated at our local university. We are in our 40's and love to travel. We have just completed our first exchange of 6 weeks in Spain and had a wonderful experience. References available. We take great pride in, and care of our home and will give yours the same respect. We are available in the summer months of July and August and regular school holidays. We have a cat but he will stay with relatives while we are gone. However, we are more than willing to look after a cat or two. Biweekly cleaning person and yard care is included.
