Victorian dairyman's cottage a few yards away from Wells Cathedral. Wells is the smallest city in England and mine is probably the smallest and quirkiest house in Wells! It has a very clean, contemporary and uncluttered interior with views of the honey coloured Cathedral from the bedroom windows. Set in a quiet and secluded position, with a riotous front garden, full of colour and vegetables and a shady green back courtyard, it is a perfect place for a couple to enjoy the beauty of South West England.
Wells itself is a beautiful little gem of a city. Nestled around the 12th century Cathedral (with its renowned musical heritage) lies the ancient Bishop's Palace, complete with moat and swans and the famous VicarsClose. Lots of local pubs and good restaurants a short walk away. Fantastic twice weekly local market equally close. We have two bikes for cycling on the Somerset Levels. Glastonbury and the Jurassic Coast are nearby. Historic Bath and vibrant Bristol are both 40 minutes drive away, even quicker in my Alfa Romeo!
There's one small cat (Tilly) to feed and friendly neighbours to help out.
