Formerly the Stables to the Manor House in the quintessential English Village of Wellow, our home is a haven of peace and quiet with a large garden overlooking fields and the c13th village church. It is in excellent condition - we have replaced bathrooms, kitchen etc since moving there in 2005.
Wellow has a local pub, walks, trekkiing centre and village shop, and is an idyllic retreat - yet is only 15 minutes from the Georgian/Roman city of Bath with the Roman Baths, Georgian Assembly Rooms, Royal Crescent and many restaurants. Further afield, you can easily visit prehistoric Stonehenge or Avebury or numerous National Trust properties in a day, and London is just ninety minutes by train.

Probably just the two of us - Rob and Avril - though our 20 year old son may join us if the offer is particularly tempting. We could do a non-simultaneous exchange if needed. Not travelling with us will be our two cats and seven chickens. If you want to look after them then great, but if not the cats will go elsewhere and the chickens will be fed by a neighbour.
