Our house is overlooking the river Tamar, the border between Devon and Cornwall, close to the Brunel bridge. It is quite comfortable, warm in the winter and cool in the summer. The living room has an open fireplace, there are plenty of logs in the wood store. There are 5 double bedrooms, a study and an artist studio. Our garden is quite private and sunny. We have sunloungers and garden furniture.
Saltash is a small town with a variety of shops, supermarkets and pubs. The countryside is at our doorstep, Dartmoor, Bodmin Moor 1/2hr drive away. There is a golf course literally around the corner. The seaside is also 1/2hr drive for the south coast and its lovely small rocky beaches and 1hr for the north coast, good for the sandy beaches and surfing. Cornwall and Devon are very touristic counties with a lot of picturesque fishing ports and villages.

We are teachers Art and French, with two adult children, who may wish to join us.
We have two cats, who would require feeding.
We enjoy walking, reading, gardening, travelling. Bob likes to paint in his spare time and has a studio in the annexe. Elisabeth likes to cook so the kitchen is well appointed as well as the utility room.
We have arranged an exchange for this summer 2013 but would welcome short breaks anywhere.
