Our family home is located in a friendly village on the outskirts of Toulouse with easy access to the centre of Toulouse by local transport facilities (bus and metro).
The house is situated in a very quiet residential area and was extensively renovated two years ago with a state of the art kitchen and modern living area with ready access to an open terrace (including stone barbecue)overlooking the swimming pool. In the summer months, we live and eat outdoors on the terrace. The pool (5m x 2m) is ideal for families with children of all ages as it is enclosed with gated access and is very safe for young children with large open steps at one end to aid access to the pool. We have a Freesat box and receive all the UK Free TV channels.
There are two double bedrooms, one single bedroom all on the ground floor and another single bedroom on the first floor with its own bathroom.
Toulouse is a wonderfully relaxed city with lots of festivals taking place in the Summer. Many wonderful vineyards are within 1 hrs drive and the Mediteranean only 90 minutes drive. If you prefer mountains, some excellent walks in the Pyrennees are only 90 minutes drive away.

A British family who have lived in France for over 20 years, both parents work in Toulouse with a space firm - one as an Engineer and the other as PA to a Legal Director. Our daughter is 17 and is passionate about Basketball with a basket available in the garden. Both parents speak English and French and our daughter is also fluent in German. We thoroughly enjoyed our first home exchange last summer.
