We live in a beautiful historic town with a train station from which you can explore Disneyland (45 mins), Los Angeles (1 hr), San Diego and famous Zoo (1 hr), Mission San Luis Rey. Minutes away from Southern California's best, safest, most beautiful beaches in San Clemente, Laguna Niguel, Laguna Beach, and Newport Beach. Great surfing and golfing nearby. Dana Point Harbor, just down harbor, has boat and kayak rentals, restaurants, whalewatching, and ferries to Catalina Island.
