EXCHANGE REQUEST FULFILLED FOR SUMMER 2013

Spacious and comfortable family house in the historic village of Lejre, 35 minutes by train from Copenhagen.

Our house was built in 1912 and extended in 2008 so it sleeps 8. It is fully geared up for children with a good garden, trampoline, play station and lots of toys and games.

The village is surrounded by beautiful countryside great for walking and biking. Feel free to borrow our bikes! Lejre is renowned for its stone-age relics and burial mounds and there is even an award-winning stone-age theme park close by.

Golfing enthusiasts can enjoy a round at the local 18-hole golf course.

Despite the small size and sleepy feel of the village, there is a train station within walking distance so you can be in the heart of Copenhagen in under 35 minutes.

We are a family of five. Polly is a freelance writer and editor - originally from the UK, and Tommy is a self-confessed internet nerd and the founder of a web agency.

We have three children: Edith 12, Thor 10 and Silvia 8 as well as 2 docile cats that would appreciate feeding during your stay. If this is a problem, we can make alternative arrangements for them.

We love travelling and enjoy both outdoor activities such as walking, biking and skiing, as well as cities.

We are open to any offers in the school holidays.

We are happy to look after any pets and have friendly neighbours who could help look after our pets if you wanted to travel for a while during the exchange.

We would be both appreciative and respectful of your home.
