Cheddington is a friendly rurual village with two pubs (one of which is over three hundred years old_pictured) and an historic Church (pictured), a green with play area and a small village shop.

The small towns of Tring and Leighton Buzzard are about a 15 minute drive and have a selection of supermarkets and a farmers market.

Cheddington is an excellent location for walking, e.g. close proximity to Ivinghoe beacon, Ashridge estate and the long distance Ridgeway path.

Whipsnade Zoo, Mead open Farm,the Leighton Buzzard Narrow Gauge railway, Quinton Railway Centre and a section of the natural history museum (Tring) are all within a 15 minute drive. Slightly further afield is one of the largest model villages in the World, Beaconscot, located in Beaconsfield and Gullivers World, Milton Keynes.

Cheddington also has a train station which allows direct access to central London within 45 minutes. Chesham, (Metropolitan line) and Wendover (Chiltern Railways) are a 20 minute drive.

The house has a pleasant contained rear garden with a childrens' play house, gas bbq and hot-tub. There is an open fire in the lounge for those chilly evenings. The house is child friendly with a playroom containing numerous toys suitable for a young child.
