Fun beach house, located only 2 minutes from the Pacific Ocean. Nestled in a quiet neighbourhood a mere 8 minutes from the small, boutique town of Whakatane. The house reflects our outdoors and sporting existence and therefore comes with use of sporting equipment.
Ohope is a small beach side village situated on the East Coast of the North Island of New Zealand. As a quiet little community, it is a safe, relaxed place to live with a beautiful beach always minutes away from any house. The nearby town, Whakatane, has all you will need when on a holiday and as New Zealand's Sunshine Capital will provide the weather you are after for a summer escape. The wider Bay of Plenty is no more than a couple of hours drive away, around beach filled coastlines, or scenic lakes, and provides plenty of entertainment if you are looking for a break from your peaceful beach views.

Steve, Sheryl, Nick, Kate, Matt and Lucas are a tight-knit, adventurous family. Coming from the beachside village of Ohope we are all into water activities and enjoy a wide variety of sports. Steve and Sheryl, have raised us kids (now young adults) to be active and maintain a healthy lifestyle while ensuring we enjoy ourselves. We are all avid readers and enjoy music and films as much as our sporting ventures. We are also all involved in the community whether lifeguarding, building hockey turfs or coaching local school sports teams. Kingston is our resident pet. A fairly recent addition to the family to replace our previous pet, he enjoys human contact and is a frisky, energetic one year old black and white cat.
