We live in the picturesque Somerset village of Chew Magna (which recently won the Sunday Times 'Best Village to Live in the UK'). Our house sits prettily on the River Chew and is centrally located within the village but in a private position with an amazing south-facing decking. It is a comfortable, light, recently renovated family home.
The village boasts 4 pubs (1 with michelin star), supermarket, post office and many other facilities. With beautiful rolling countryside, great walks, local farm shops and the cities of Bristol and Bath with all their many attractions only 20 minutes away, this would be a fabulous exchange! Any keen sailors would be able to use our Wayfarer, kept at Chew Valley Lake just down the road.

Joss, 39, an interior designer, Philippa, 36, a full-time Mum and keen gardener, Bertie, a lively and loving 4 year old little boy and Mary, his equally lively and funny 3 year old little sister.
We have a 6-month old terrier puppy but are flexible as to whether we take him along with us or leave him with parents during the exchange.
We enjoy the outdoors and a sociable village life but equally enjoy trips into Bristol and Bath to see plays, films, comedy and friends.
We love travel, especially visiting Spain where Philippa once studied and lived (she speaks rusty, fluent Spanish!). We are initially going to see how 8 weeks works out before potentially deciding to make a move for a year or so, sometime in the near future.
