The town centre of Shrewsbury with its many restaurants cinemas and theatre is within walking distance. It is an unspoilt medieval market town with easy access to wonderful walking in the Shropshire Hills. Blists Hill museum is a 25 minute drive. The M6 is about 35 minutes away and routes to Wales, The Lake District and Chester are very convenient. There are also good train links to London, Manchester and Birmingham.
