Lovely 3 bed home swap in Compton, England

A modern, comfortable three bedroom house in Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in a small downland village on the Berkshire/Oxfordshire border. We are on the edge of the ancient Ridgeway, wonderful for country walks, horse riding, mountain biking etc. The surrounding area is full of quaint towns and villages on the banks of the Thames and numerous great country pubs.

This is a wonderful place to be for exploring a little further afield: historic Oxford (30mins by car), Henley-on-Thames (40min), Windsor and Legoland (45 mins),the Cotswolds (1hr) and the New Forest (1hr) and Bath (1hr 15). Also London is just 45mins by train.

Our house was built in 2005 and is light and airy. It has a fully fitted kitchen and beautiful natural stone open fireplace in the living room. The master bedroom and second bedroom contain double beds and we have a junior bed in the third bedroom. The garden is quite small, but peaceful and secure. It is backed by trees, full of garden birds and often an owl.
