Our comfortable, medium-sized detached house is over 100 years old and situated on the northern fringe of the old market town of Chesterfield.

The Derbyshire Peak District National Park is very close. This encompasses thousands of miles of walks and many heritage properties, including Chatsworth House, Haddon Hall and Hardwick Hall. There are also many beautiful and unspoilt old towns and villages such as Bakewell, Buxton and Eyam. The Peak District contains some of the most inspiring scenery in the country.

Chesterfield's central location also minimises travel to other parts of the UK. A 5-minute bus ride (every 10 minutes) to the town centre connects to good bus and train services. London is less than a 2 hour train journey away.

For car travel the M1, UK's main north-south motorway, is ten minutes away. The rejuvenated City of Sheffield provides for all one's cultural needs and is only ten miles to the north, while the historic city of York is also within easy reach.
