Lovely 2 Bed home in Eastbourne, England

Our home is a two bedroom flat in a Victorian villa overlooking the English Channel and a very large residents garden on the western edge of the South Downs National Park. This part of Sussex is designated an area of outstanding natural beauty with the hills of the Downs and the many small picturesque villages providing perfect examples of the English pastoral scene. There is also a wide variety of historic towns and cultural events scattered generously across the area.

Brighton is within 40 minutes driving distance, and there is a twice hourly train service to London which takes 90 minutes). Newhaven is 20 minutes drive (for ferries to Dieppe ? France); Dover Ferries is approximately 2.5 hours drive, and Ashford (for EuroStar/Tunnel) approximately 2 hours.
The railway station and town centre are a twenty minute walk away. There is a small village within a ten minute walk ? where there are two small supermarkets. Within a ten minute drive are 4 large supermarkets with convenient parking.There is a large aqua-centre and pool within a ten minute drive.

The flat is on the second floor and there is no lift, but the stairs are wide and not steep. The main bedroom (5m X 5m) has a large double bed plus a convertible sofa and an en-suite bathroom. The second bedroom (4mx3m) has bunk-beds + 1 single bed and a separate bathroom.

There is a breakfast bar in the kitchen, plus the central heating controls and washing machine (but no dishwasher), and a formal dining area in the sitting room (6m x 5m). The two sofas convert to beds. We trust visitors to use our books as they would their own.

We do not think the flat is suitable for small children, and we require a damage deposit of ?250 to cover accidents refundable as appropriate.

There are satellite television; DVD player; VCR player; CD player; phone; and computer with internet link, wifi and printer.
