4 bedroom Victorian terrace. 5 mins from Cambridge station and one of England`s "top 10 high streets" known for cosmopolitan shops, cafe`s, pubs and independent retailers - a number of which that are doing take-away or `cook at home packages` to survive during this crisis. 10/15 minutes walk from the centre of historic Cambridge. We`re happy to include our bikes (and the children`s) - the best and most popular way to get around the town.

The lounge is open plan with stripped wood floors (and piano) and wood burning stove, play room (a bit overflowing with toys from lego to rollerblades), toilet and kitchen/diner overlooking the garden. The Garden is grassed, with a small patio (and BBQ) for catching the evening sun.

Upstairs - master bedroom with double bed, 2nd large double bedroom, good size single bedroom, recently completed double bedroom (sofa bed)/office attic conversion and bathroom. We have additional futon mattresses if needed.

The house is light & minimally furnished family home. We have two friendly and easy going cats who would love to keep you company OR we at are happy for them to go to a cat kennels if you would rather.

About the location

Cambridge is known, mainly , for the university but the city has a lot to offer beyond this - festivals, museums, a thriving music scene, gastro pubs, street food, green space, commons, the UK`s oldest outdoor swimming pool, the river, a nationally respected arts centre (Cambridge Junction) which presents an eclectic programme of contemporary music, comedy and performance (theatre, dance, spoken word), arts cinema and lots of good pubs. Only 45 minutes from London by direct train ( the station is 5 minutes from our house) you wouldn`t expect to find rare breed cows grazing on the main common by the river!

We live off Mill Road - a vibrant, diverse, well known road which leads to the centre of Cambridge. We`re passionate about our local area and love its cluster of independent cafe`s, shops, deli`s and pubs and bars.
