Newly renovated Victorian house with mature garden. On a quiet residential street at the centre of Crouch End, North London.

The terraced house was fully renovated in 2015 and is furnished to a high standard throughout. Victorian period features are combined with a spacious open plan living space downstairs, including a double reception and kitchen with island and window seat, leading out to a patio and garden.

As a family with two young daughters, we have a master bedroom with king sized bed, two children's / baby's rooms and a spare room in loft conversion with double sofa bed and views to Alexandra Palace. It would therefore suit a couple or a family with young children, but can accomodate larger groups. Two bathrooms, dish washer and utility room with washer and dryer.

The gardens include a crab apple tree in the front garden and a mulberry and an apple tree in the back. The patio is equipped for BBQ'ing and eating outside.

We have reliable cleaners who can visit mid week.

About the location

Crouch End is a North London neighbourhood close to Highgate. It is a leafy area with green spaces including Priory Park in its centre and Alexandra Palace, Highgate Woods and the Parklands Walk adjacent. Highgate Village and Hampstead Heath are nearby.

Crouch End has a distinctive "village" feel, with a traditional bakers, butchers, fishmongers and greengrocers. It has excellent independent restaurants, an art house cinema, quirky shops and lots of coffee houses. There is a good public leisure centre with a Lido for outside swimming in the summer.

Although Crouch End does not have its own tube station, it is well connected with central London. Highgate tube (Northern line) and Hornesy main line station are each a pleasant 15 minute walk away. Alternatively, taking the W7 bus to Finsbury Park (Victoria and Piccadilly lines) followed by the tube you can be in the West End or South Bank in around half an hour.

Sightseeing and nightlife in central London are therefore very accessible.
