Lovely Family Home in Punk Area of Friedrichshain - Berlin

We have a large, family apartment located in a bustling, vibrant area of Friedrichshain, Berlin. Recently refurbished to a high standard, our apartment has all the charm and character of a typical Berlin apartment with tall ceilings and original art stucco.

We have two double bedrooms plus a double-sized airbed to sleep additional people if required. Our kitchen/diner is fully equipped with all the general amenities (including an induction oven) plus we also have a juicer, coffee machine and a dishwasher that is free for your use.

Our young daughter was born in August 2016 and so our apartment is currently very baby-friendly with a crib/changing area in the main bedroom plus a bottle steriliser/high chair in the kitchen and plenty of toys/books to play with in our Montessori-esk family room. We don't currently have a TV in our apartment but there is access to a projector where you can watch movies on the big screen!

We are located on the second floor and whilst we do have a lift in our building, it is not wheelchair-friendly and there is still a set of stairs to go down to enter our home.

About the location

Our flat is a prime location for those looking to explore the beautiful city of Berlin. There are plenty of bars, restaurants and cafes all within walking distance. Alexanderplatz and the main tourist spots of Berlin can be reached with a 10-15 minute tube ride. The East Side Gallery is just a short tram ride (or nice stroll) away where you view the Berlin Wall and walk by the river.

Walking distance from the tube (U5 Sameriterstraße, 5 minutes), tram (M10, 5 minutes) and s-bhan (10 minutes; direct link to airport) our apartment is very easy to get to and great for getting around the city.
