About the location

Situated in a quiet residential street, our home is close to the local bus routes into Oxford city centre. Oxford is one of England’s oldest and most historic towns, home to its most prestigious university, featuring numerous beautiful buildings, a modern shopping precinct, one of the UK’s oldest botanic gardens, restaurants, pubs, cinemas, theatres, museums and bookshops galore, and a thriving cultural life.
It is a 2 minute drive/20 minute walk/short bus ride to Oxford Parkway railway station, which has regular trains to London, a one hour ride away, as well as to Bicester Village Designer Outlet. There are also frequent buses to London from central Oxford.
Nearby Woodstock is an old market town worth a visit in its own right, and is either a local bus ride or just a 15 minute drive away. It is also the location for Blenheim Palace, the family home of Winston Churchill, with beautiful grounds, and child friendly activities.
The area boasts an extensive network of footpaths, notably the Thames Path and the Ridgeway, and several cycling routes. Oxford is within easy reach of the Cotswolds, with its wonderful countryside and traditional villages and market towns, including Stratford-upon-Avon, the birthplace of William Shakespeare.
Oxford is well-connected to the UK’s road and rail network, and is one hour by road from Heathrow airport.
