The Pink House - Brighton
Our home is a seemingly small Victorian terraced house in east Brighton (it`s perched on a hill and is much larger inside than it looks!). It is 20 minutes walk from Brighton station and 10 minutes walk to the city centre (5 minutes to the beech/Brighton pier). All our south facing windows have seaviews (at the top the views are spectacular). We have a sweet little backyard (but also and unofficial roof terrace at the top). The Pink House (its painted pink - all the houses on our block are painted different pastel colours) is very much a family home, we`ve been here 14 years (mum, dad and a teen) but right at the top we have a loft apartment which is often used as an Airbnb for couples and . Adding these two spaces together our home will easily accommodate two couples (ie 2 x double bedrooms) and thereafter two more rooms (one with sofa bed, one teen bedroom with another double). A good sized living room on the ground floor can sleep up to three more.
About the location
Brighton - it`s got everything! The immediate area is safe and there`s parking (via visitor permits we can supply you), Queens Park is close as are shops, pubs and places to eat. We are positioned on the north-west corner of Kemp Town close to the American Express offices. It`s a good spot - not super salubrious but a nice, diverse, somewhat bohemian neighbourhood.
