17th Century town house

This comfortable town house was entirely renovated between 2016 and 2018. Originally two separated houses, it has become a very quirky and charming holiday house to accommodate large families in search for a combination of French village animation (delicacies, restaurants, boutiques, brocantes, etc) as well as nature (river Dordogne, with its swimming canoeing, fishing, camping), all within walking distance.
At home one can enjoy a large kitchen and dining area, TV room and sitting lounge, apart from the sleeping rooms which are spacious and all have their own lounge facilities, often hanging from the ancient ceiling beams. Although not big, our comfortable terrace is ideal for relaxing, reading and barbecueing.

About the location

Beaulieu sur Dordogne is located on the banks of the river Dordogne. It is still part of the Corrèze region, although one enters the Lot region as soon as one crosses the river. It is also a good entry point to discover the famous Dordogne region.
It is a very lively village (2500 inhabitants) which especially in summer when the campsites and numerous holiday houses attract a lot of green tourism. When you leave the house, you basically choose between 3 options: up the hills (5 minutes), downtown (you`re there already) or down to the river and swimming pool (5 minutes).
We advice to come by car (or rent one in Brive) so you can visit the many highlights. the region has so much to offer: caves and waterfalls, medieval villages (Rocamadour, Souillac, Collonge la Rouge, ...), and the landscape is just stunning.
