Double room in beautiful 2-bed Victorian garden flat by the park - London

My apartment belongs to a Victorian brick building of 3 flats, all owned by its inhabitants and very friendly.

This lovely double room overlooks the walled courtyard garden so is private and cosy feeling. It comes fully furnished with a double bed, chest of drawers, mirror and bookshelves.

The kitchen, bathroom and sitting room are shared with my wonderful American housemate (female) and the flat itself is filled with beautiful things from my travels, lots of books and artwork, plus original floorboards and fireplaces :)

I`m a self-employed yoga teacher, entrepreneur and writer. I`m looking to create a room-house-share swap with an individual or couple who are happy to share the flat with my housemate for the duration of their stay. Ideally you will be clean, considerate, warm and friendly, and someone who shares similar interests (arts, culture, yoga, food, travel, good conversation).

About the location

I`m on the border of Brixton and Herne Hill, meaning we have access to the diverse and lively neighbourhood of Brixton and the more genteel, family-like area of Herne Hill. Both are home to fantastic independent restaurants and bars, farmers` markets and brilliant transport links to the city and around London (bus, train and tube.)

The flat is opposite the much-loved 18th Century Brockwell Park with its manor house, splendid meadow, secret garden, basketball and tennis courts, community growing gardens, public lido, gym, views of London and huge array of beautiful trees.
