Casa Maria

Casa Maria has been in our family for many years and that’s what helps makes the villa feel so welcoming.With ample size bedrooms, big comfy sofas in the winter it’s cozy round the wood burner but in the summer the house really comes in to its own.Two large balconies surround it, with a separate barbecue area. From sun up until sun down you can enjoy amazing views from all aspects.You can relax next to the pool on One terrace or equally enjoy views down the valley from the other.The villa is in the National park so it is sympathetically developed and quiet, yet only one kilometre from the village of Salema which has a stunning beach plus great bars and restaurants.Tennis and golf are so close, not even a 5 minute drive. The tennis courts are in walking distance.

About the location

Salema is an unspoilt fishing village that in recent years has become a little jewel in the Algarve.An hours drive from Faro airport, but totally unspoilt by commercialism, Salema has lots of lovely restaurants and the beach is beautiful.Nearby there are a host of other beaches to choose from if you want to explore. Bikes are for hire in the village, including electric ones if you want to take off for the day and leave the car in the drive.
