Lytham St Annes beach retreat

We live in a terraced Victorian three storey house in Lytham St Annes. The beach is at the end of the road - about a 5min walk.

Our large light and airy kitchen is great for family meals, we have a large table which seats 12 and french doors open out onto the garden.

We have a five bedroomed house but one room is used as an office (and gym as it has a rowing machine in it!)

There`s a master bedroom with an ensuite bathroom, one large children`s room and a smaller one, both have pull out beds which can be used as doubles. There is a family bathroom between the children`s rooms which they use. We have a playroom with TV, keyboard and tons of Lego..

The back garden is small but perfectly formed with a table and chair set, chimnea and lighting in the trees. It`s love for drinks outside with some space for football but we are often to be found at the beach instead!

Front room is really cosy with our woodburning stove, two sofas and a great selection of books.

Our guest rooms are at the top of the house with their own bathroom with bath and shower.

About the location

The beach is pretty much at the end of our road, just a 3 min walk.. you can walk all the way along the promenade or beach to Blackpool or to Lytham, the skies are huge here and there is tons of beach wildlife to explore.

We have Lytham St Annes town within walking distance and you can get the tiny train to Lytham in a couple of minutes - this train can take you to Preston and Blackpool too..

We love cycling and you`re welcome to use our bikes for bike rides along the promenade. In the summer we have the Lytham Festival, walks or open air theatre at Lytham Hall and in September it`s the Kite Festival.

This is a great place for children, with a small playground just behind the beach huts on the seafront, the Pier and all its attractions and Fairhaven Lake is also great fun with the new mini golf, birdwatching and playground.
