Lovely, peaceful home easily accessible to the best of Los Angeles - Glendale

At the end of a cul-de-sac on top of a hill overlooking downtown LA sits our lovely home. With all original wooden floors, working fireplace and lovely light, our home is a perfect retreat from the busy-ness of LA, and easily accessible to hip and happening Highland Park, Eagle Rock, downtown and Silverlake. We have an unusually large backyard complete with a trampoline, hammock, green egg, and massive picnic table for entertaining--we eat out here every evening in the summer and the sunsets are beautiful. A cozy cabin in the backyard is perfect for a quiet office space or extra guests. Our home has all the modern conveniences you would expect, and is child-friendly and has a crib and plenty of baby and kid toys. We have an extremely lovable, non-shedding, terrier-poodle rescue named Leona who we would love to include in the swap, but it`s not obligatory.

About the location

East LA`s best kept secret, Adam`s Hill is a cluster of leafy, peaceful, rolling hills easily accessible to any freeway you might need, and nestled between LA`s most interesting neighborhoods. Walking distance to great cafe Little Ripper and a very short drive to lots of excellent restaurants, bars and shops. Very safe and quiet, but not far from anything you might need. A car is highly recommended and one of ours may be included in the swap.
