Hi, I have a modern two bedroom ground floor maisonette situated in the popular St Johns area of Tunbridge Wells, a charming historic spa town. We are half a mile away from the main town centre and a short walk away from the best pub in town, St Johns Yard. The Pantiles is also a walk away and is home to a variety of specialist independent shops, art galleries and open-air cafés, restaurants and bars. Regular events, including a free summer Jazz Festival on Thursday evenings, a Food Festival and a fortnightly Farmers` and Craft Market, are all held on the Pantiles.

The living room has SKY TV & a fireplace. There`s a modern kitchen with ceramic hob, double oven, dishwasher, washing machine & dryer. The bathroom benefits from under floor heating. We have WiFi and a private rear garden with a BBQ, table and chairs. 2 bedrooms with King bed and single bed. Also a double Futon available if needed which can be used in the 2nd bedroom.

About the location

Tunbridge Wells is a lovely area, lying in the unspoilt beauty of the Weald countryside, surrounded by small towns and villages that still retain the essence of the medieval English landscape with a long history of hop-picking beer-brewing and fruit growing.

We are a 17min drive away from Harrisons Rocks and Bowles, both excellent rock climbing spots.

We are also surrounded by cute English villages like Groomsbridge, Speldhurst, Goudhurst, Hawkhurst and Sissinghurst to name but a few. Much of the area is in the High Weald, a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, and an attraction in itself but there are also spectacular historic houses, landscaped gardens, castles, exceptional churches, vineyards and orchards to explore whilst here.

The are two theatre`s in Tunbridge Wells, horse riding & boating lakes nearby and we have the Spa Valley Railway on our doorstep. Steam & Heritage Diesel trains operate throughout the year between Tunbridge Wells West & Eridge, stopping at High Rocks & Groombridge. I would highly recommend exploring both High Rocks and Groombridge.
