Our apartment is located right on the river in the city of Brisbane with magnificent views of the iconic Story Bridge and the cityscape. We are surrounded by recreational, cultural and arts facilities, entertainment, dining and shopping opportunities. Everything is a 5 - 20 minute walk away and it is all on our doorstep with endless opportunities to explore Brisbane and all it has to offer. You don`t need a car but if you want to go further afield, transport is easy or we have bikes you can borrow.

The apartment is part of a small complex and it has a spacious balcony and a large lounge /kitchen area, two bedrooms, two bathrooms and a separate laundry. Even though we are located in the city, the apartment is quiet.

To the left of the apartment is the new, trendy `Howard Smith Wharves` development with cafes, restaurants, a boutique brewery/bistro and an over-water bar. This area is literally a 3 minute walk away and so dining out is an easy option.

We are very centrally located and you can easily relax on the balcony and watch the world go by or dive right in to the exciting city life on your doorstep.

About the location

Everything is on your doorstep: a local grocery store, parks, a river boardwalk for running, walking or cycling, shopping, restaurants, cafes, bars and many entertainment options. Because we are so central, everything is easy to access and explore. The city ferries are a 10 minute stroll away and they can take you to several other suburbs of Brisbane.

Brisbane`s South Bank area is a 30 minute walk or a short taxi ride away and it has a wide range of dining, retail, cultural and entertainment facilities such as the Gallery of Modern Art, the Queensland Museum, Performing Arts theatres and so forth.

The city precinct is dynamic and has a range of upmarket and smaller boutique shops plus the larger retail stores. Dining options are plentiful and as with any major city, there is a lot to discover. If you prefer a quieter option, parks and the Botanic Gardens are a 15 minute walk from the apartment.

South east Queensland is the premier tourism region in Queensland and Australia. Brisbane is located in the middle of two of the most popular tourist areas: the Gold Coast and the Sunshine Coast which are popular all year round with their miles of beautiful coastal beaches and inland there is some of the most spectacular countryside and tropical rainforests. The Gold Coast can be accessed by car in just under an hour or the Sunshine Coast in less. Both areas are serviced by public transport and if you felt like a few nights away by the beach there are many accommodation options to choose from.

Weather temperatures are ideal from May to October with sunny days and cool evenings. A perfect time to enjoy Brisbane and all it has to offer.
