Lovely spacious family home with great access to Glasgow city centre - Cathcart

We live in a large, traditional Victorian terrace near a beautiful park in a quiet street. We have great amenities within a couple of minutes walk and Shawlands, with all its popular cafes, bars and shops, is just a 30 minute walk away. We are in an area with excellent transport links, meaning you can travel easily all over the city via train or bus.

The property has 4 bedrooms over 3 floors. One is set up as a room for a baby and another for a child, which also has a sofa bed. The main bedroom has a superior king-sized bed and the bed in the spare room is king-sized. There is a bathroom on each floor, with a shower in each and a bath on the top floor. The downstairs shower room has a washing machine and tumble drier to use during your stay.

Downstairs, there is a spacious living room with a wood-burning stove and a large kitchen with plenty of cooking space, opening to a bright extension with a dining table which can seat 12. The extension has bi-fold doors which open straight out to our garden- a great space to have a bbq in the summer.

Our house is fully equipped to host a family with children, including toys, highchairs and extra travel cots if required.

About the location

Cathcart is a quiet area of Glasgow and the nearby Linn Park, which is less than 5 minutes walk away, is a great escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. However, many of the city’s best brunch spots, coffee shops, bars and restaurants are within 30 mins walk. The city centre is a 15 minute train or bus ride from our house and there are easy links from less than 5 minutes walk away. We are within walking distance of 2 other large parks and the city`s main attractions are all easily accessed by public transport.
