This is a beautiful house with wonderful views. The garden backs onto Vivary Park and is located in the heart of Taunton. Inside there are five bedrooms, three bathrooms & a large open-plan living area. The house is spread over three floors.

This house is our family home and so is perfect for family groups holidaying together.

The layout of the house is as follows: Ground floor - parking both off street and in a garage for 2 cars (3 cars by prior arrangement). There is also a hallway, a shower room and two bedrooms (overlooking the garden) on this floor. Middle floor - large open plan living area (with sofa bed) including kitchen, dining area and lounge plus a separate bedroom with two futon beds. Additionally, this floor includes a large terrace with amazing views over the park and steps down to a large patio where you can relax on the outdoor sofa. Top floor - two further bedrooms and a family bathroom. One of the bedrooms has an ensuite.

Please note, unfortunately this house is not suitable for toddlers as there are lots of stairs (with gaps between each step) so it would not be safe.

Please also note, we have a family dog and so are happy to allow one well-behaved dog. Your dog needs to be house-trained. Dogs are only allowed on the middle floor of the house and are not allowed on the furniture. Dogs must access the house via the back of the property, up the steps to the terrace overlooking the park and garden.

One final point, the house comfortably sleeps 11 but can sleep up to 13 if the sofa bed is used but this would then be a bit of a squeeze around the dining table.

About the location

Taunton is the county town of Somerset, a beautiful place in the south west of England. The area is very beautiful, there really is something for everyone nearby - beaches, castles, cathedrals, watersports, theatres and so on. Furthermore, you can catch a fast train to London from Taunton with a journey time of 1 hour 40 minutes.
