Duplex Penthouse Apartment

Our home is on the top floor of a newly built development with 24 hour concierge beside the Ashton Canal in New Islington/Ancoats recently voted one of the coolest postcodes to move to by both the Sunday Times and Timeout magazine.

Despite its closeness to Manchester city centre the area is quiet and tranquil. Entry to the apartment is on the 7th floor with an internal staircase up to the top floor. On this floor there is a large open plan living room / kitchen with views towards the Peak District and the Pennines and a large south west facing terrace with views over the city centre.

There is also a a small bathroom (WC and washbasin) on this floor together with a ‘snug’ which has a large sofa bed. Downstairs there are three bedrooms 2 en suite one of which is Jack and Jill style. All beds are king size one can be spit into two singles if desired.

We have a fast broadband connection and 3 tV’s with Netflix, Amazon Prime, Sky Sports and Sky Atlantic.

About the location

New Islington is fifteen minutes walk or one tram stop away from Piccadilly Station. Manchester Airport is 30 minutes away by tram. The tram stop is less than five minutes walk from the apartment and serves all city centre attractions as well as a direct line to both Old Trafford and the Etihad Stadium - the latter is also in walking distance.

A five minute walk through the cotton field marina will take you to trendy Ancoats, known locally as ‘Scrancoats’ because of the many and various opportunities for dining out it offers.

Liverpool is 50 minutes away from Piccadilly station and the Peak District and Forest of Bowland are less than one hours drive away.
