A short drive leads to parking for several cars and the front entrance. The Lloughor estuary and the ebb and flow of the tide is visible in the distance.
Our lovely thirties house has been modernised but retains period features. Inside is an entrance hall with access to a comfortable lounge, a kitchen diner, stairs to the bedrooms and a downstairs loo.
The kitchen has the usual contemporary facilities plus an Aga and a lounge area overlooking the rear garden.
Access to the rear is via French doors. Outside there is a patio, a garage, and a large area of lawn with flowerbeds and tall trees.
Upstairs there are two double bedrooms and a study/bedroom. the latter has a large comfy double sofa bed. There is also a bathroom with shower and loo.

About the location

Although we are on the edge of Swansea and not far from the M4 we are surrounded by trees. There is a park with fantastic views and some play facilities across the road. There is also a large wooded conservation area with lakes, waterfalls and a cafe not far away. At the bottom of the road is an urban farm. Beyond the farm is a retail park with supermarkets and other major stores.
Swansea being a city has many leisure facilities but in addition has a beautiful bay with off road walking and cycling all the way round the bay to Mumbles. It has docks, universities, and sites devoted to the poet Dylan Thomas. It is about 15 minutes to the docks/centre.
Further afield, taking 30/60 minutes are the beautiful bays and beaches of the Gower Peninsular, Britain`s first designated `area of outstanding beauty` and a magnet for adventurers and artists alike. North of Swansea are the dramatic hills of The Brecon Beacons National Park
