A modernised 19th century end Terrace

Our home has been adapted and modernised to a high standard over the years to accommodate a young busy family. We have an open plan downstairs to keep beady eyes on little kids having fun. With the kitchen right next to a large dining table which is near to a lounge area makes for a comfortable living place. There’s a laundry room, back boot room and recently updated downstairs toilet.

The house typically holds us 6 comfortably and has lots of toys, garden space with your typical kids outdoor play items. Sadly no trampoline.

We have four double rooms, of which three have double beds and the fourth room a cabin bed with bed underneath.

The upstairs bathroom has served us all well with a large baths and walk in shower.

There are levels up and down and no stair gates so if you your kids are used to the stair gate you might want to bring some.

The kitchen has an instant hot tap (best deign feature). Two ovens and an electric hob.

The house will be clean, and we expect any family to of course use the toys /black board /Alexa for your own fun.

About the location

We live in a small village outside of Skipton the famous market town in North Yorkshire. Embsay itself has a lot of local walks directly from our door, two village pubs and a small paper/convenience shop all with a short walk. A 5 minute drive takes you to the historic market town of Skipton which holds a popular market Monday/Wednesday/Friday and Saturdays. There is a newly refurbished museum, stunning Castle, local accessible woodland walks and of course the canal with daily barge trips.

Bolton abbey steam railway that is practically opposite our home, a brilliant adventure for kids.

We bike quite a bit with our kids and have Billy Bobs ice cream parlour about 2 minutes bike ride from us. As well Skipton which is a 5 minute drive or a good 30 ‘minute walk.

It’s a lovely village filled with lovely people that will help you if you need it.
