Antico Lazio - a country paradise in Rome

This four bedroomed house is just 20 kilometres from the centre of Rome and yet immersed in total countryside. The house has four bedrooms and three bathrooms upstairs, each with its own air conditioning and heating.

On the ground for is a large living room and dining open space, a studio area, a half bathroom and a large kitchen. There is a pellet stove for heating in the winter and a fireplace.

There is a private pool in the Mediterranean style garden where there are Roman pines, olives, figs and more. While at the house the noise you hear most is the birds singing.

In the basement is a laundry area and a mini gym as well as firewood for the fireplace in the living room.

About the location

The Antico Lazio condominium is in the Commune di Riano, the first of a series of small Communes on the outskirts of Rome. You will need a car. There is a large supermarket and a the village of La Rosta within a five minute drive.

Within ten minutes you can be at the Monte Bello train station where trains to Rome run every fifteen minutes. The journey takes about 25 minutes and the train arrives at Piazza Flaminio where there is a station on the Metro making it easy to plug into Rome`s public transport.

This property is ideal for people who want a relaxing country holiday with the easy option of spending time visiting Rome. There are also areas of local interest including Parco di Veio, an early Etruscan area.
