Spacious period cottage with sun trap garden

Beautiful Grace II listed spacious cottage in the middle of the quaint market town of Beccles; the Gateway to the Norfolk Broads. Our cottage is a bit of a tardis, from the outside it looks small but is deceptively spacious. There are two living rooms (one with tv one with Inglenook fireplace to read or enjoy a wine or light the fire) there are two double bedrooms, and our young daughters room with a cot… which we may lock up with personal possessions, or could be left available for a small child. There is a family bathroom with bath and shower and an additional toilet and shower room downstairs. The large open plan kitchen diner is large and perfect for cooking and socialising, and looks out to our lovely garden which has recently been landscaped and has an egg chair as well as a corner sofa to relax. The cottage doesn’t come with a parking space but we easily park our car in a number of free roads a couple of minutes walk away, or there is paid weekly parking nearby.

About the location

Beccles is a lovely market town with lots to offer. You can rent boats for day trips on the Norfolk Broads, there is a Lido in the town and some lovely walks. Beccles is lucky enough to have a great selection of places to eat and drink, from gorgeous independent coffee shops (Twyfords and Baileys) to cafes for lunch, an award winning Pizza restaurant and some fancy options (Graze and Easy Tiger) to name a few. We often take kayaks and paddle boards out on the river which you can rent in town, and you are a short drive from beaches such as Southwold and Walberswick.
