Holiday flat in La baule

Our holiday home is a quiet, light, comfortable, east-west crossing flat (but still never too hot in summer), with ample living space (4 rooms, 950 sq ft), and has all the home comforts you might need to rest and restore after a full day exploring the area, or enjoying the beach.

On the second floor of a listed building, with a private landing; two bedrooms, and a sofa bed in the living-room, two small balconies to dry the laundry, a large kitchen, dining-room and sitting-room.

About the location

La Baule is only 3 hours from Paris by TGV or 1 hour by plane (take-off from Nantes international airport).

The building is the middle of the long Avenue Lajarrige, with lots of shops and restaurants; quiet neighbourhood around; 300 yards from the railway station, 300 yards from the beach.

One of the most beautiful bays in the world, La Baule owes its reputation to its beach, which is one of the longest in Europe: it runs for 9 km, from Pornichet to Le Pouliguen. It has a chic image thanks to its prestige hotels, historic villas and classy activities.

Paddling along the ocean’s edge is great fun; children get together in the beach clubs and grown-ups swim in the gently lapping water, while at low tide there’s plenty of space for beach games, or fishing on foot.

La Baule is part of the Guérande peninsula with many fishing ports, Breton villages, Guérande medieval city, salt marshes and Brière natural regional parc (with its boat rides and horse drawn carriages), the biggest golf course of France with 45 holes, the large aquarium in Le Croisic… numerous places to discover, whether it is a small wild cove or lively and trendy places.
