Halfway between Montreal and Quebec City, lovely home in a wooded area
Our house is nestled in a rural setting on the banks of a pretty river. It's a blend of rustic French-Canadian charm and American Arts and Crafts inspiration.
It is situated only 2,5km from Trans-Canada Highway which is very convenient and there are lots to see and do in the vicinity.
About the location
The Trans-Canada highway crosses the country from the Atlantic to the Pacific Ocean! It will take you approximately 1 hour 20 minutes to arrive in Montreal and 1 hour 05 minutes to Quebec City from our home.
We are living in the countryside. Thanks to our central location, many other cities are accessible and offer touristic, sports or artistic attractions and services.
You will need renting a car. Nearby roads are wide enough for cycling and walking, but there are no dedicated cycle paths nearby. However, the many small secondary roads that crisscross the region are very pleasant.
There is a campsite 1 km away. They have a nice swimming pool and for a small fee you can enjoy their facilities. I go there almost every day in the summer and I love it!
