Lovely 4 Bed home in CHEMAINUS, CANADA
A modern house set on almost 3 acres of land in a private setting on the edge of Fuller Lake. The lake is warm for swimming and we have a rowboat available for trout fishing. Gentle winds make it possible to learn to windsurf on our rather ancient board. Close to the village of Chemainus and its historic murals, we are a 10 minute drive from the ocean and ferries to the Gulf Islands, and 5 minutes from the local golf course. One hour drive south is Victoria, with theatre, great restaurants and shopping, while another ferry ride will take you to Vancouver and nearby Whistler mountain ski resort. A tour of the local wineries will be of interest to oenophiles and a four hour drive takes you to the other side of our island where you can hike in the rain forest or along the wild shores of the Pacific ocean.
