The beach is perfect for sandcastles, boogie boards, surfing and crabbing - hours of fun for the whole family! West Wittering beach is a 3 minute drive away with sand dunes, windsurfing and Kite surfing.

The house is light with large family open plan kitchen seats 8 -10 at dining table, log fire, conservatory. Large, private & sunny garden perfect for oudoor dining!

Swings /climbing frame/ and huge trampoline for kids. Outdoor fire pit. Hammocks.

We also have 5 well behaved chickens to provide you with eggs.

3 min. walk to village for great local shops & Pubs & take aways.

Short drive to: Roman City of Chichester, Festival Theatre, Goodwood Estate/Racecourse, Fishbourne Roman Palace, Weald & Downland Open Air Museum, Beautiful South Downs for walking & mountain biking and Chichester Harbour. ( designated area of outstanding natural beauty ) Historic Portsmouth half hour away.

London, 75 mins by train. Gatwick Airport 1 hour, 10 mins.

House has 3 double bedrooms ( 1 with king size bed), 1 further bedroom with single beds. A large open plan kitchen/dining area, a conservatory, TV room and living room with open fire. We have large Smart TV and DVD player.

About the location

East wittering is a small seaside village full of great shops and all the local amenities for a busy community. Doctors, dentists, library, banks etc.
For a small village it still boasts great local shops including 2 wet fish shops, 2 butchers and 2 free grocers, 2 bakeries. So you never need go to the supermarket although there is a coop and tesco if needed.
The beach is beautiful and incredibly safe. No currents or rips and an ideal type place for children or water sports enthusiasts. We have 2 great surf shops too where you can. It or hire kit.
The local harbour walks are many and varied and Chichester harbour is a must.
Chichester is a pedestrian town, full of stunning Georgian buildings and surrounded by beautiful Roman walls. It is steeped in history with its cathedral and Roman legacies.
We are lucky to have fabulous museums close by. The Weald and download museum is a fabulous day out. Also fishbourne roman palace, Portsmouth historical dockyard and ships.
The South Downs national park is perfect for nature lovers. The mountain biking is fantastic as the area is rammed with bridle paths. The South Downs way is one of the best walking paths in the country. The Downs are also famous for their gorgeous old pubs with wonderful views and fabulous food.
