Our home is in a suburb of Perth, being 14 km North West of the CBD. Perth is an attractive city on the bank of the Swan river and has all the features of a modern city including theatres, shopping, museums etc. Our suburb has local and regional shopping, medical care, parks and beaches.
The area to the south of Perth has the famous Margaret River wineries, forests, art galleries, surfing beaches and unique wildflowers in August to October. Forest walks are in the Perth hills with all forms of boating available. Further afield are the Kalgoorlie goldfields (fly, train or drive), wheat and sheep farms and long straight roads.
