Our home is located within minutes of Australia`s best beaches, shopping, restaurants, sightseeing and tourist attractions - but away from traffic and noise. The map shows the location of our house. Look in satellite view. For street view you will have to look from one of the cross streets nearby, because the Google camera didn`t come along our part of the street last time.

Well-designed modern home (constructed in 2008) in a very quiet area, directly opposite a small "greenspace" park and within a few hundred metres of canal and river. Native birds and animals throughout the area (great for birdwatchers). Many walking and cycling paths. Three bicycles provided.

Kitchen equipped with modern appliances - large refrigerator/freezer, electric oven and ceramic cooktop, rangehood, microwave, dishwasher, coffee machine for espresso/cappucino etc, grill, all small appliances and utensils. Outside gas barbeque in the paved private courtyard. The courtyard has a grapevine-covered pergola above, as well as large umbrellas for shade.

Or take it easy, and walk 700 metres to our waterfront licenced restaurants and cafe/coffee shop - or picnic in the park across the road. Many, many more restaurants and shops are located a few minutes drive away at the tourist resort area of Mooloolaba.

Main bedroom has an ensuite bathroom with toilet and large shower. Main bathroom has a jacuzzi/spa bath, a separate large shower, and separate toilet.

Large TV with home theatre and Wii. Reliable unlimited Wifi internet.

Three bedrooms, one of which is set up as a study. Ensuite bathroom to main bedroom. Sleeps 4 in two queensize beds. There is also a single foldaway bed. Airconditioners, as well as ceiling fans throughout the house, to keep you cool in summer. Airconditioners have heating function for the occasional cool winter day. Expect (daily min/max) temperatures 18 to 35C in summer, 8 to 25C in winter.

The house has easy-care ceramic tiles through living areas and bathrooms, and carpet in the bedrooms.

Our home is not set up for small children, but we could make some adjustments if necessary. It is on one level, and wheelchair accessible.

We could include our car in the exchange to give you further scope for sightseeing in this beautiful area.

THE NEIGHBOURHOOD

A modern, planned, upmarket canal development near Mooloolaba on the beautiful Sunshine Coast, one hour north of Brisbane by easy freeway driving.

There are local buses to various locations on the Sunshine Coast, or to connect you with the rail service to Brisbane or other parts of Queensland. Major shopping centres are nearby (10 minutes drive, or 20 minute walk via pedestrian way), or exclusive boutique shopping just a few minutes further at Mooloolaba. In a few minutes you can be relaxing or swimming at one of the Sunshine Coast`s picturesque beaches (Caloundra, Mooloolaba, Maroochydore, Coolum, Noosa), or a 40 minute drive will take you to mountain villages of Maleny and Montville. An easy drive of 20 minutes to Steve Irwin Australia Zoo.

Picturesque local scenery, small wineries and interesting shopping. Sporting facilities nearby incl golf, swimming, tennis, fishing, boating, horseriding.

The neighbourhood is quiet and safe.

1.5 hours of easy freeway driving to Brisbane domestic and international airports, 20 minutes to Sunshine Coast airport for discount flights to Sydney, Melbourne and other parts of Australia.
