Former farm house, restored into 5 apts with a large garden, pool and play ground - Umbria
My flat is on the ground floor with a private garden and a big terrace. There are the living room with a sleep comfortable double sofa, fireplace and one bedroom with double bed, two bathrooms, large kitchen and doors from each room and kitchen out to the garden.
It`s 1.5 km from the village of Calvi with all the shops You will need. A car is needed to get around, to visit all the very lovely antic places nearby.
Umbria is called The green heart of Italy, because it keeps green all year around.
The house is on the top of a hill with 360 degrees view,it`s a lucky place the people from the village say.
The other 4 apts are rented out for holidays and there is a pool in the garden.
The house is surrendered by our vine yards and olive groves.
The medieval village in itself is really worth while to visit, there are bars and a pizzeria and several nice restaurants in the surrounding.
People are very friendly, there are some foreigners that have bought houses in the area, but it`s not a tourist spot.
About the location
Lovely green and restoring area. Beautiful views over the Tiber valley and the Pre Appenini mountin, nice woods for walking and nice strolling around in the village.
You do need a car .One hour by car to Rome and to the airport of FCO.
