About the location

Woodbridge Road leads from the town centre to the beautiful Suffolk coast and although the road can be busy at peak times, the traffic noise is not intrusive because the house is set back from the road about 50`. A bus stop is almost outside the house so you can get to the seaside by bus f you want! In the other direction, walking is more practical to get into the town centre.15-20 minutes depending on where you are going.
A recently developed superb waterfront is a relaxing place to stroll and have a coffee in the sun, or lunch or dinner in every price range. Or visit one of the many churches in Ipswich that were built with profits from the wool trade of the middle ages and now have been revitalised into art galleries; mindfulness centres, jazz and classical concert venues and classes of all kinds.
Ipswich is the home of `Dance East` where you can watch performances choreographed by internationally acclaimed artists and attend classes in Yoga, Tai-chi, and dance of any kind. Ipswich has a multiplex cinema and a small one showing specialised films. The main Wolsey theatre puts on a variety of plays throughout the season and a couple of smaller theatres provide space for young productions and experimentaldrama.
The railway station is a 25 min. walk or bus ride away or its less than £5.00 for a taxi. The new hi-speed train gets to London, Liverpool Street in less than an hour, or, in other directions, to Norwich and Cambridge.
If you bring or hire a vehicle, you will have greater flexibility to explore the beautiful East Anglian countryside, visit some of the many churches and other historic buildings, the fabulous Suffolk coastline and Norfolk Broads.
